Jasyn sat by the river, the bobber of his fishing rod gently floating in the water. There was a nice breeze that ruffled his fur. With a content sigh, the otter leaned back against a nearby tree.
It had been a couple weeks since he had moved to Hemlock after Maple Town went under. It was a pleasant place, almost exactly the same to Maple Town but with a separate layout. The mayor was a bit eccentric and his secretary a bit timid, but they seemed nice. The shop owner was a sweetie (not that he would ever say that out loud) and the mail… person was interesting. The police man on duty was a shark, which to be honest slightly intimidated him.
Before he could continue his thoughts, the bobber was pulled under the water. He quickly reeled in and pulled the fish up to examine it.
It was a barbel steed. Satisfied, Jasyn pocketed it and moved on to the next fishing spot.

So here's my first (of MANY) fish/bug/deep sea spams. I plan on doing short little thoughts like this for every common type of creature. Rare ones will get slightly longer ones and super rare will only be part of my full-blown stories/event entries.
